I asked about the lights you see on the side of some of the higher end coaches that are angle mounted in the doors or skin at Bussin 2006. I was told by several people that these were originally pool lights. I can't find them or a source! Any ideas, suggestions, links??? |

Try looking in some of the marine catalogs for "Docking lights". I believe they are intended to be used to let a larger craft see the dock as it approaches in the dark. In some of the camping magazines they might have some of these also. |

I got mine at camping world. I put them at the rear, but the high end RV I have now has them up near the front. Front is a FAR better location for them. |

I used stainless docking lights from West Marine. Real nice design...oval about 6 Inches long and about 2 high with a halogen bulb. Lights up the area real nice. Mounted mine about half way up the bus. Al |

I meant to say I mounted the lights on the baggage door and about midway fore and aft. |

Also get the catalog from Defender Industries in CT , They have 800 number and are 40% cheaper on many items. Some folks just need the ability to get around sharp city corners , not iluminate an entire campstie. For that service a set of orange or red side lights (whatevers legal) about 4 ft from the rear of the coach , with an oversized bulb , will show the curbs ect, for the larger less handy coach.
