today I walked back by tag axle and could hear air leak. I didn't pin point it but seems to be from tag bag mabee. can I cut off air supply to tag. when the previous owner bought the bus the tag was chained up.

Ron you should be able to turn the air off to the tags at the valves located in the service compartment on the right side of the engine bay. Should to lever type valves mounted inside this door on the inner fender well! near where the dump valve would be in RR equipped MCI. I been read'n alot of yer post but I guess I missed it if you've told what kinda MCI you bought! Now back to the air I don't suggest you just turn the air off and leave it off as this will change the way the coach rides, and brakes! If you run with no air in the tag suspension with the wheels on the ground, I am told that will cause the destruction of the air bags on the tag suspension.

The head mechanic at the bus company I drove for told that to me.
