Tony,

I run an industrial supply business here in Ga. I make the teflon/ss assemblies in house. They are not the cheapest way to go to route fluid, but they can handle temperatures up to 600F and pressures up to 3000 psi depending on the diameter of the hose. I would have to know what type ends you need and overall length to quote a price. If you want to gather that info, I will be happy to try and help. BTW, next week I will be out of pocket.

the steel line is better for one reason.. it will act a radiator to cool the oil used in the power steering system..... if you use hose, and you must do so at each end to make it fit, keep it as short an you can... rubber hose wont dissapate heat....

Put pwr.steering in a Flex last year and used the teflon w/ssjacket. Very convenient to run as opposed to pipe. Pricey, but easy to run it. Was a time saver.

I put power steering in a AM general and used steel for the long run and had hydraulic hoses made up for either end of the bus. I also made sure that my connections in the steel lines were in an accessible place in case a leak developed. Running flexible lines might be easier to install in a bus with the floor already in but will cost much more. My lines were installed through the chassis before the floor went in. Did'nt like that job too much. Happy busin---Steve
