Hi folks
I don't get on here too much but I still look for deals.

This monitor is pretty cheap, 12vdc can hook up to a camera, (for the toad, may have to use a mirror to revers image), will play DVD, games. Can work for home surveilance too, watch the bus, house, garage... It mentions headphone jack and the pic shows speaker locations, however, they do not mention speakers.

Here is what they say about it....

Offering by me is informational only, make your own decision if you feel this is the quality you are interested in at this price. May be subject to credit approval. Bus color does not apply. Use in warm, dry areas only. Do not get wet. for indoor use only. Not for keeping rainy days away, but makes a rainy day a bit better.

Thanks for the tip Corey!
All Electronics is a pretty good source of surplus electronic stuff and I've had little to complain about the quality of their doodahs.

Only one comment on this one: read the review a customer wrote about it... particularly the part that says

"The picture quality is "fair" and has uneven contrast. For viewing in the dark or up very close it is fine. In room lighting from a few feet away it is difficult to see. "

It may be that it's an older generation non-TFT LCD, in which case I would consider carefully before trying it for a backup monitor.
My experience is with a 14" TFT LCD mounted way up where my rear view mirror would be, against a black background... the monitor has very good brightness, viewing angle and contrast, and even then it's still somehwhat difficult to see during bright days....

Cheers
Gary
