Several months ago I read a message about changing the windshild wipers from air to electric. The writer mentioned getting all parts from Mohawk and the total cost was considerably less than the $600 kits. Would like some more information on this conversion if possible |

I converted mine by using some ford pickup electric motors from a junk yard. instead of using one electric motor with a lot of linkage for two wipers i used two motors, one for each wiper. works great |

Could you please pass along more info on the Ford pickup wiper motor change over eg. What year truck , what modifications had to be done,wiper arms and blades used.I would like to convert our 4104 over because the air ones do not work properly,drivers side only travels half the distance it should.Thank you.Raymond PD4104-3632 |

I sure could use one or two of those take out 4104 air wiper motors for parts. Do any of you guys have one you don't want? |

Gilbert , Some one told me once the wiper motors on the rear of SUV's adapt good for old car or truck Vac. wipers.
I could have used electric wipers on my drive from Oklahoma to Oregon in Januray in my 48 dodge flat bed. Heavy snow and the gas pedel to the floor board do make the Vac wipers work so good.
