Using the center tap isn't a good idea for getting the 12volt
supply, if that's what you're doing.

If you're tapping into the 12v supply for the headlights, you
may be tapping into either the resistor, or the 24 to 12 converter,
both of which are controlled by the on/off engine key. That
24 to 12 voltage converter was designed for the headlights, and
not much more.

The best thing to have, is a separate high amp 24 to 12 converter,
dedicated to the 12v system you want to power.

Optimally, it's best to have a 12v battery bank, dedicated
to the 12v "house" supply, and charged by it's own 12v
alternator, and/or 24v to 110vac inverter to a 12v charger..

Lot's of options, you just don't have the right one, yet...

John mc9 Could i install a 24volt to 12volt invertor and use one of those empty pegs, and run everything of that peg.

A 24 to 12 Converter should be run from the battery directly.
The draw would be too much for one of the "pegs" to supply.

You can then run the 12v to an empty unused peg, and wire
from there!

Iffn' youse don't have a manual, some charts are here:
