Help, anybody know about RV refrigeraters?? mine freezes everything inside ,what do i need to do???? |

If it does it on both electric and propane then turn down the thermostat. Could be a bad one. If only on propane then flame is not being shut down. You may need a new circuit board. |

Assuming you have fiddled with the thermostat, there is a wire with a temperature sensing device (thermocouple) that is clipped to the big aluminum fins of the cooling unit in the back of the refrigerator compartment. Make sure that it is clipped to the fins otherwise, it will overcool like you describe. This refers to Norcold. Don't know if Dometic is the same. Jim |

To expand a bit , it is a norcold , it overcools on both propane and elec ,thermostat setting dont seem to affect it, will try the items mentioned , any other ideas will be appreciated Thanks Frank Allen |

We have an older Dometic which was always running, whether on propane or 120VAC. Found out the thermocouple had been damaged and wasn't responding to any temperature changes so as far as the thermostat was concerned, it was never reaching its temperature setting and always running. FWIW, Henry |
