1982 bluebird wonderlodge with front left airbag leak. I have replaced airbags on other vehicles some go well others were not fun at all. Just some questions;
How difficult are they to replace?
How difficult is it to find the parts? (can I pick them up at a standard HD truck shop?)
Should I replace all 4 front airbags or just the one(rubber is a little cracked on one other, but not leaking)?
I was able to get the bus to a relatives house in Arizona and I can work on it there. Had planned to rent a heavy duty lift that can lift the whole front end. Any other special equipment that I might need?

I think it is safe to assume that the other three bags have equal age and wear & tear on them

It all depends upon who made the air suspension in your Wanderlodge. Blue Bird has used Ridewell suspension systems a lot.

If it is a Ridewell suspension the parts should be readily available at most any truck parts house.

Although Blue Bird doesn't have that many dealers, their parts and support system is pretty good. Plus their prices many times are less expensive than truck parts stores.

I would suggest that since you plan to rent equipment to lift the bus that you replace all the bags. The biggest expense is usually getting the old bag off and the new bag on.

Good luck.

If one side is gone im sure the other is just a few days or miles from failing also best to do both sides while your add it that way you only get dirty once.

I removed and replaced my front air bags on my 1982 wanderlodge.The part number is on the firestone bage.Make sure that it is the correct one with the short nipple on the inlet side.Cost about $100 each.verry little room between top fitting and frame.I used a schredder valve and vacum pump to compress the bag to install.The bage was not leaking,but i replaced out of consurn about line around bag.I cut the bag open and found out that the rubber stopper that prevent the bag from pinching had broken down.It was caused by the sqare plate on the bottom.I ground the corners down.remember to block up.saftey first.

Update on status. I was able to get the old airbag out in about 1 hour. Needed the number on the top of the bag to order a new one from firestone airide. I ordered 4 to replace all the front ones. Plan to head back to Arizona to finish the job when the parts come in. I should be on the road as soon as the parts come in. Thanks for all of your help.
