I screwed up and procrastinated on emailing the guy that had the water heater on the board and now have to buy something quick. I was at lowes last night and seen a titan 2 galon 110 volt unit relatively cheap. will this be ok for a temorary unit? I can later ue it for a back up unit. |

Why not get one of the 6 gallon 110 models? I'm not sure what 2 gallons will wash. I've got a used 6 gallon that I'm going to install intitally. |

But, as my wife asked, Why would you want to heat hot water? Dallas |

We keep telling Ron that it's called a "cold water heater", but he just won't listen. |

Why use the Titan as temporary. We installed one foe permanent use and so far we have never run out of hot water but we don't wash clothes in our bus either so that may make the difference! For washing or showering, I have yet to see aproblem with it! It re-coups very fast since it's only heating 2 gallon and usually it's not a full 2 gallon needing to be heated as it refills as it is being used! I know of one other that has a Titan permanently installed in thier coach as well and to my knowledge, no problems there either and they full time! It's your call! Ace |

Ron, use it. It will work just fine. Be careful though of pressure build up on the hot water side of the manifold. The "blow off" valve should be switched out with a lower pressure rating. I did not do this at first, and watched the pressure build up in my water lines to 90 lbs. after the hot water reached the desired temp. The other option is to put an expansion tank in, this will solve the pressure problem, if you have the room for it. Good luck, Mark |
