I found out this weekend that I have a rotten radiator in my 1980 Eagle, 8V-71w/turbo, 4speed. any suggestions on where to locate one priced reasonably?

Weylin, Throw that piece of crap away and get a decent radiator since you have to repair it anyway. Call Matthew at Capitol City Coach in Atlanta. (404)765-0500) He has several Neoplan articulated city buses that had 8V92s in them with autos. the engines and trannies are gone but the radiators and air filters are still there. Mine was $500 a year ago. The dimensions of the radiator are:
Overall
49"W x 33 1/2"H x 8 1/2" D
Core
40"W x 30" H x 7 1/2D
This is a xflow radiator. It will take up the battery compartment on the left side. You will not have to move the altenator or cut into the rear framework to install it. It will go in through the existing radiator door although it is a tight fit.
My old stock radiator would not cool the 8V71N and 740 even after spending big bucks to have it rodded and reconditioned, new thermostats and building a special oversize drive pulley, etc.
The new radiator cools a 500HP 8V92 and the generator is plumbed into it also. Do not spend 1 dime on the radiator you have. Get one that works now. Best of Luck, Joe
