The lightweight easy to maintain and FUN to drive coaches are begining to have BIGGER a following. Some folks that don't "need" a hot tub , washer drier ect ect ect are pleased with 10+mpg. So the handy 35fts are being sought . Sure they climb 7% grades slower than the big heavy boxes , but SOME folks will swop 10 min for an extra 5mpg these days. Works for me! FAST FRED |

Calfbob, Again, for you and Morgan, the Buses for Sale section had moved to this bulletin board system as a result of redesigning the entire 100+ pages of the BNO web site. Since then, feedback from both viewers and sellers has been that the other way the section was presented was both satisfactory & preferred. I am making strides to convert back to the old style (with the new format of the entire newly redesigned site), but that process is ongoing. Though I wanted to roll out the old/new pages before now, there have been mitigating circumstances which have caused delays, including my retirement from my full time job and my subsequent purchase of a new retail franchise store, the latter of which is keeping me hopping big time. During this entire process, there was no reason Morgan or anyone else could not have listed their buses for sale on this web site. The facts remain: this web site gets over 15 million hits a year, over 2,000 people visit this site daily and we have sold over 180 buses through this resource. My statistics show there are actually more people looking at the two ads that now appear in this section than at the old pages, but due to the vocal majority, I have chosen to go back to the old format (with the new look). The old pages still appear at: Under $35k: www.busnut.com/4sale/under.html Over $35k: www.busnut.com/4sale/over.html The "sold" remarks are at www.busnut.com/4sale/tmonials.html and the non-operating new look is at www.busnut.com/109.html. Please note the non-working link to the Buses for Sale pages. I'll continue to politely ask for your patience during this process, but for a resource you have been viewing for free for over 8 years, some hiccups should not only be expected, but tolerated without whining, don't you think. All will return to normal very, very soon. And when it does, trust me, there will be no visible evidence left behind on this web site that anything went "wrong" in the first place. Ok? Doug, Doug, Doug, Doug, Doug! That's why I took those pages offline. Again, I'll tell you what I did. About a month before I changed the Buses for Sale to the bulletin board, I emailed each and every one of the advertisers to confirm that their bus was still for sale. After a month, no one responded, so I moved the section to the bbs. Then, about 30 days after that, I got a few emails... maybe two or three... saying they still wanted their ad. Too late, I had already changed the format and links to the new section. In between the time I first emailed the bus for sale advertisers and the time they started writing saying they still wanted the ads, I had changed the format of about half the web site. Rather than change the bbs section back to the old pages, I thought I would change the pages to the new re-designed format... saved me a step - B-I-G step. That's where we are today. Meantime, back at the ranch, my life went on and I retired and decided to buy a franchise. That process is now ongoing in a very big way and it is currently limiting my computer time. In the end, I am putting the old pages up in the new format. I am then calling each advertiser (because the email didn't seem to get many responses) to make sure their bus is still for sale. As you have observed, many of the ads are useless. That's the only trouble with selling an ad, charging up front and saying it's there until the seller contacts me to have it removed. No one calls. I am so lonely. Finally, when you see this section back up and running, you'll likely only see a dozen or so ads... but at least they will all be legitimate. That's Plan "A". If anyone has a better one, please step forward. :-) Ian www.busnut.com |

Ian, you are right every thing comes to those who wait. but not me i took this ##### computor to the nerd that knows all about them and he had it for 2 days, charged me $110 and said that the was only 2 buses for sale in that section,i picked up the computor under my arm and went out the door with it telling him he was an idiot, back in i went and came out agin with my head under his arm with him telling me there is only 2 adds. so home i came ,set the #### up again and quess what, there in answer to the above question is your answer. boy you saved me a great deal of money as i was enrolling to speak another lingo as i had used up all those words that mother would wash my mouth out with soap for using,so thanks Ian for getting the answer here in time, you have a great board and keep up the great work. Oh unfaithful brethren! Why would you bring the wrath of Ian, lesser god of the busnuts, down on our heads? In order to remove his displeasure, best that we send offerings to the BNO head office in a feable attempt to appease the lesser god? I have packaged up a half consumed case of Molson's and two used LED tail lights and mailed it all off directly. Woe is us, who toil in obscurity, that the lesser god may be molified! happy coaching! buswarrior |
