On the old flxible transit coaches with the 8V/71&V-730 transmission. The V-730 transmission has a small Firestone air bellows for the support for the end of the V-730 transmission. It also has a small air pressure regulator to control the coach air pressure down to around 60 psi? To inflate the above bellows. By any chance does any one have a Flxible parts book that might list the proper part number and correct name of the regulator? Would you be so kind to post the information on the board. Thanks jlv |

Most of those were replaced with a stock solid rubber mount. It should be the same on most transits that have the V730 in them. The bar it's hooked to is called the transmission support strut or ( bar ) and really doesn't carry much loading.. Check with the RTS guys, someone should have one laying around and they are fairly cheap too... |

You could probably get one from NIMCO...talk to Nick. If they have a flex or RTS that uses one, he could probably sell the brace, air bag, and pressure reg cheaper than a bag would cost. |

The folks at Muncie found the Flxible part number and they had the valve in stock. jlv |
