My wife and I plan to attend the bus gathering being sponsored / arranged by Dallas & Cat Farnworth. The bus gathering / rally information can be seen at: http://www.busconversionstuff.com/eventpage.htm This gathering is being held from May 19th,- 21st 2006. What a great way to start your camping year out at some place new and maybe we can all help make this an annual gathering for Dallas & Cat to have a success at arranging like Jack & Paula Conrad have achieved at Arcadia, Fl. Every year. Maybe in a short time we can turn this small bus gathering into a full fledged Rally in the future for us East Coast & all of US BusNuts across the country look forward to coming to. Of coarse we still cannot drive our bus, ("The Rustless Money Pit") yet, (Still not roadwothy or safe) but will be in about 12 months or hopefully less to attend Arcadia this December. But with Dallas's assurance this does not matter if we have a bus or not we are not going to let this deter us from going to Dalas & Cat's bus gathering and making new friends at a new location, look at real bus converters ingenuity and perhaps incorporate this information on our bus as well. So all of you attending this bus gathering we look forward to meeting you and just enjoying our hobbies we all have and making this a great weekend to just start the summer out nice. Gary | ||

I should have researched Ian's (BNO LINKS) page before making the above post link to see that Dallas & Cat's bus gathering link was listed in Ian's great Links tool we have to get used to looking at daily for updates and new entries. Again go to (BNO Links) at the left side menu of this page and receive new information that will be helpful in our busnut hobby, sorry Ian, again I reacted too quickly without totaly researching. I'd really like to but we're working so many weekends (50+ shows so far this year booked) doing our Kettle Corn and now we have added Roasted Corn at some of our events, it just doesn't leave much time for travelling. We're using the money we make doing that, to finish our bus and So far, so good! If things open up, we'll see! We're also looking at purchasing a small motorcycle to put IN or ON the back of the bus while travelling...just in case! Ace | ||

Cliff, I look forward to meeting you at Dallas & Cat's bus gathering, be sure to look me up, I am sure I will not be hard to find. I sure hope others will change their mind and come with their rigs for this weekend at Timmonsville. Ace, I understand why you cannot go, you guys work hard and I hope it will be a great success for you, we'll see you at other gatherings / rally's and look forward to it.
