Some of you folks have told me you like to see these web galleries I put together of our family enjoying our new bus conversion. So here's another: a few weekends ago we went down to Colorado Springs for a few days and had a great time. http://www.brownland.org/travel/cosprings06/1.htm Because of some health issues, we had to bag a major 10-day trip to San Francisco this week. But to make it up to the kids, we're taking them to Glenwood Springs, CO this weekend. Enjoy, The Browns Longmont, CO USA |

Nice job as always, BB. I do have to wonder if your preference for Walmart over the Broadmoor was shared by all. ;) |

It is amazing you have the the time to do the things you do, never mind the time you set aside to document what you did. As always great pictures. Paul |

Thanks, folks. Frank, we took this trip in the midst of the tranny heating issues (the flatland two hour drive didn't heat it up too bad). We'll find out on Friday if my tranny cooler "ventillation" and fan fix did the trick when we take her up to Glenwood, through the Tunnel and over Vail Pass. Ron, yup, Brown Bus #4. Here's the BNO announcement and shake-down trip report last month: http://www.busnut.com/cgi-bin/bbs/show.cgi?11/13545 Paul, the way I have time to do this? By buying a bus every year instead of working on the one I got! *smile* bb |

Ron, I'd probably be divorced, too if I had kept all of them. We're trying to part with Bus #3 presently. Paul C. has Bus #2 (God bless him), and the goofball that traded me for that bus has Bus #1. I think I got that straight... Anyways, the more I get into this, the more I realize that the average busnut's wife is a saint. I know mine is for indulging me with this hobby! And I occasionally make good by giving our kids some bus-ventures to remember. And if they don't remember, I got the pictures to prove it. Brian |

LOL...If Brian keeps trading up as he has this last year, he'll be in a 5 year old Prevost by 2010. Jay 87 SaftLiner |

Hey Brian Great set of photos and the videos of Flying W, great! We will be there in July taking in some of the same sights all the way from Missouri. Wife and I will be bringing daughter and her new husband who has never seen CO. Thanks for sharing. Rob 91 LeMirageXL Msiiouri |

What an awesome job you are doing. Good job. Er... one correction. Your Peafowl shot is of a Peahen and not a Peacock. Pretty easy to tell them apart this time 'o year even if they're all white. What a great way to document a vacation. Randy |

Jay, if I could move up to a late-model Prevost in four years, I'd have to quit bussin' to places and quit taking pics... and start working and saving instead of playing and burning through diesel... like 10 years ago. It's a nice thought, though! Who knows? Powerball!! Hey Rob, the Springs is a great place to come. I'm sure you've "got the brochure", but be sure and do The Academy, Seven Falls, Wind Cave, Cliff Dwellings. LOTS of stuff to do there. Thanks, Randy. You're gonna laugh at me now, but just a few minutes ago I would have called that a "girl peacock." Gads, but I guess that's like a "boy cow." Peahen. Peacock. The peafowl family. "Brian, it's a peahen." "Whoa, dude... they're called peahen peacocks?!" Makes perfect sense, now. And I'm such a rube! bb |
