I don't know anything about them, but I'd be leary. I've heard some horror stories about "RV" roadside assistance programs... and not being able to service or tow busses. Coach-net through FMCA is the one I always recommend for our busses. It's $100/year and they really know how to deal with big rigs. One service call will pay for the annual service. One tow and you'll be way ahead of the game. Last summer I had a flat on my '06 at the Legoland in CA and they dispatched a guy to bust off the tire and replace it with my spare. He called me from the parking lot and I only missed about 10 minutes of enjoying my vacation. The phone techs are also trained and know their stuff! I also have coach net, and when I called them last time I had trouble, they knew I had a MCI. And they even knew what 102A3 ment. It felt really good to be talking to someone in the know. Luis |

Coach-net from FMCA is great. I had a blowout in the middle of South Dakota. Coach-net called back to offer me my choice of two different tires (not covered) before I had time to set up the disabled vehicle markers. Their knowledge of different tow companies and their great dispatch service is probably worth the price. Don’t leave home without it. |

Roadcare Emergency Road Service; a division of Affinity Road and Travel Club through Camping World. They too know big rigs. 3:15 AM stuck on the berm in Charlotte, NC. The lady that anwered knew what a '72 GMC4905 was, and got a gent out post-haste to cure my woes. (Sticky E-Stop plate) $89.00 year. 1-800 828-4258. I hear good things about several others too, but this the only firm I've used for 6 years. Cheers...JJ |

Thanks, Based on these comments and on others, I just joined Coach Net. Great bulletin board! I'm leaving for a month long trip and thought it would be prudent to have it. Although I have some coverage through my State Farm policy, all they do is reimburse (probably) when presented with a bill. I subscribed to Coach net so I can call an 800 number anytime and get help too. Several years ago I had Good Sam, but they sent so much junk mail of all kinds, I quit them. I did have to use them once in Texas in the middle of the night. Service was ok and got the job done, but took way longer than it should. (partly me, partly them) |

This conversation made me check on coverage from Coach-Net. They said a non-FMCA member cost $115 start-up (first year) and $135 per year after that. It also covers any auto you own or borrow for you, your spouse, and your kids! I thought that to be pretty cool! I'll be signing up SOON! |

The decreased cost to join Coach net while being an FMCA member along with the great FMCA magazine made me join FMCA as well. |
