Hey, does anyone know what's currently at the Brandywine, Maryland scrap yard???? I know all the old DC area transit buses went there at one time. There should be lots of fishbowls from the old DC Transit/WMA, as well as AM Generals from Metrobus. Does anyone know what's still in this yard? I'm wondering if any old-looks or Whites are still hiding in there anyplace. Thanks!!!! |

Yes! There are a few here and there, LOL! The Ohio Museum of Transportaion has one. I would have to find the link, but they have a pic of it on-line. There is also another big version White, from the later ones, at a local junk yard. James :-) |

P.S.---I recently found an old Ford transit model (have not verified origin, but suspect DC) that is still used by a contractor. There are also two real short ex-DC old-looks still around. One is in VA and the other at the Ohio Museum of Transportaion, but in red colors now. --James :-) |
