need some help connecting twelve volt trailor to the bus 24 volt system? |

Use the "Search" engine on this board and you'll find, as I did, at least 2 detailed drawings of the way to handle this little dilemma. I used the info to build mine and it works....GREAT! |

This comes up at least once a month.... 1. Add 24v bulbs to the rear towed light assembly, in thier own 24v bulb holders.. Or 2. Use a portable lightbar on the towd vehicle, with 24v bulbs... http://www.blueox.us/Accessories/wiring.htm Or 3. Wire a 12v bulb (at the connector) in series with each 12v circuit. Two 12v bulbs in series on each side will do it. When they burn out, replace both bulbs. If there is a chance you will use the trailer for 12vdc, then you can mod the circuit for that as well. Crane |
