Has anyone installed a radiator misting system? Who carries them?

Actually go visit Mak board. There's a current thread there that is a lot more sane than the recent one here...

I would be concerned about plugging the radiator up with lime and scum from the evaporating water.

I read a great idea on the MAK board of using the bus heater to help cool the engine.
I had the bus air removed but the fan and heater core are in the bus. If I could redirect the heater output to the outside of the bus a large amount of BTU should be removed from the engine cooling system. The heater was designed to heat the whole bus in freezing winter conditions so it must have a fairly high heat removal capacity.

Has anyone done this and how well does it function?

Greg, properly done the evaporation takes place in the open air, not on the radiator. In many years of use, I never detected any buildup on my radiator.

Greg, I posted that on the MAK board about the heater core idea. I think it was Bill K., He is in New England, but I dont remember where. He has an MC8 that he put a 8V92 in. He helped me over the phone with some great advice about running my new a/c lines for my dash air. I had his phone number but I have misplaced it. Bill, are you out there?
