is there such a thing as a blue book for used busses and if so where do I get the information? I have no idea what a good used shell should sell for. I have some great information on what to look for from all you great folks at BNO, just not a lot of info on how much it all costs. (besides the usual answer, "more than you ever expected it to cost...") | ||

blue books as such are only useful for newer vehicles A bus over 10 years old is unique and difficult to compare with others. first figure out what you want and search the net to get an idea what prices are being asked . in albuquerque yesterday the IRS sold a 1986 eagle model 10 for ^ $6000.00 at auction. I already have two buses and i sure was tempted to jump in at that price there were only 5 bidders present. older bus prices depend on condition and once you become familiar with asking prices you should be able to identify a decent deal when you see one. | ||

try bus trader magazine. they used to publish a price list with hi/lo for almost every coach model and year in every other issue. www.busmag.com hth chad | ||

The way I do it on the boats is to turn the ajusting screw while watching a volt meter,I usualy set for 1/2 volt less than max,you might want a little less for your application. | ||

If you cant ajust down enough motarola sells a resistor you can put on the field. sorry ment to get all in one post. |
