Got an update on Carla. For those of you that didn't know the story, a couple of months ago Carla, Susan's niece, was in bad car wreck. So bad that it took her young daughters life and her best friends life while on the way home from picking up her friend for a weekend sleepover. They were T-boned by a truck. Her mother, Carla is still fighting for her life though making very slow progress. She still is in and out of sleep but has recognized SOME people. She acknowledges yes, and no, but that's about it. She expresses sadness and happiness when talked to. These are all promising signs to a LONG recovery.

The ones who were lost are in a better place. Our prayer are with the ones still here and in hope for a full recovery. You will be in our prayers.

You know we both have you & Susan in our thoughts and prayers and have since we knew of Carla's accident, Let her know that millions of us are pulling for & praying for her and hopefully she will have the strength to recover and walk the earth with us all again for many more years ahead. Just ask if we can do anything more for you guys & Carla.
