OK I may have been "stretching" concerns a little to tie the "what if's" of a fire risk on my crusty old MC 8's combination of steel frame with aluminum skins when I evaluate the risk of combining the oxides from both metals "randomly" into thermite or if around the battery compartment or propane tank (with their sulphur)- into thermate as you still need that detonation speed/temperature (delta T) to ignite such corrosion according to what this guy figures in his evaluation of the World Trade Center fiasco. (worth reading the whole thing from a technical point of engineering)

Egads, TH..... There's so much more to worry about with
these old gals, that "spontaneous corrosion combustion" ranks
right up there with the possibility of a space invasion of Plutonions
wishing to use our buses as a food product.

(Oh woe, how am I gonna' sleep tonight?)

(Me too) It may take me another 36 hours to stop laughing again. I have such a hard time sleeping while I am laughing. But hey with a whole lot of make believe anything becomes remotely possible. Even believing what we hear and see?

I wear an aluminum hat, just to be safe.

Oh Wait... Those damned Plutonians eat aluminum!

Seriously.... I swore that I would not -ever-, fall in love with
my bus. If it became too much of a hassle, I'd sell it.

That, was the promise!

(I fell in love. So shoot me)

If it's having corrosion problems, I can truly understand.
I have corrosion problems of my own; old plumbing's a bitch.

If it self-detonates due to the corrosion, I hope it takes me
with it. What's life without a bus?

(oh come'on, you don't really think...... I'm serious?)

Maybe I should see if that insurance company that allegedly sold an insurance on the WTC would sell me some spontaneous combustion insurance for my crusty-old MC 8 along with a rider to cover those dang Plutonians cause my favorite cap is aluminum too?
. ."""[10] Despite admitting publicly that HE gave the order (in the PBS special "America Rebuilds") to blow up his own WTC7 on 9-11, the whole thing is so corrupt that he still collects 500 million dollars on the "terrorist destruction alibi" of WTC7, and has already collected several billion dollars on the 'terrorism clause' in the WTC1/2insurance.""" an excerpt from ((( http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2006/06/341238.shtml )))
Seriously funny!

It's time for a triple-gauge aluminum hat!

Yes thankyou J MC-9 . I can try to find rest at that wisdom; as it is about free will.
