The problem of how to have a long luxurious shower while using very little water became clear to me while we were staying at a condo in Virginia. The shower was also a sauna. It produced puffs of steam using power but little water. The feeling is like a long very hot shower since you can stay in it for 10 to 30 minutes. It does require a nearly totally sealed shower door. Only fitting in shower is about a third the size of a tub faucet. Timer was on wall outside shower. A hot tub has always seemed impractical in a bus but I think a sauna in shower would beat a Navy shower. Steve Fessenden |

Sounds great! Any info about what produces the puffs of steam? Scott |

We have a BOSCH european tankless waterheater purchased at Menards in the midwest. It would heat the oceans of the world to steam temp if only it had enough LP to burn...this thin wall mount unit is foolproof and ez as pie to install (32x22x18 aaprox)and it has a life expectancy of about 25 yrs. with little or NO maintainence. I will be installing a "steam" in my corner shower this winter for the very reasons you described PLUS there is NOTHING like a good long steam to clear out those sinus' for those of us with nasal allergies or those with dry skin. |
