Why do I see only 2 buses for sale under buses for sale heading? I know I must be doing something wrong. Anyone else have this problem? |

MC-Iv, As I've written several times here on the board, the old buses for sale are still at: http://www.busnut.com/4sale/under.html http://www.busnut.com/4sale/over.html and http://www.busnut.com/4sale/tmonials.html Dean, this web site exists, in part, by virtue of its buses for sale advertising. I think maybe it might be considered appropriate if you didn't send BNO viewers off my site. Thanks. Ian www.busnut.com |

Ian, Don't take this as negative criticism of your site or board, but I think all that people want is an obvious link to the buses for sale from the home page so prospective buyer's can find them easily. If I didn't already know where they were ( because I wrote your links down on a scratch pad ) I couldn't find them and buyer's can't find them either. Phil in Az. ( long time lurker since WOBN days ). PS- I depend on my website for a large percentage of my business and I tend to pay attention to how easy it is for prospects to find it. I do my own website work and I know it's not easy to maintain. So cudos for providing this board. |

Ian, I have called on a couple of busses in the ads and they were sold a very long time ago. I would suggest, when you get this up and working that ads be limited to 90 days and perhaps offer a low cost renewal. Maybe you could set up an automatic email to the advertiser and if they don't reply, close the ad. At the very least, you could include the date the ad was posted so we could know how old it is. I also have a bus to sell when you're ready Len Silva (Message edited by lsilva on July 10, 2006) (Message edited by lsilva on July 10, 2006) |

Hi Phil, Thanks for your comments. I appreciate your point of view. I made a mistake in having moved the Buses for Sale section onto the bulletin board. I did so because there is an extraordinary amount of traffic on this bbs and I thought I might have it here for the convenience of the viewing public. I don't quite know why, but firstly no one knew where it went, even as obvious as it was here, then people started to suggest they liked it where it was. This all happened at a time when I was freshening up the face of the rest of the web site. I have yet to do that, though I am close to finished. When finished, the Buses for Sale section will be restored to the old addresses as listed above. "Long time lurker since WoBN days"... long time indeed Phil! Thanks for sticking with us. Ian, I've tried repeatedly to find buses for sale from the home page, but the only way I can get there is to go to the link in this post. Is this the way it will remain? Don |

Sorry, Ian. I just reread the above post. My question is, then, when do you think the new link will be up? Don |
