Can't a person go on vacation? Seriously, if you ever need work done on a bus Kent's Custom Diesel in Longview, WA (360-575-8884) is the only place to go around here unless you have the time to go to Southern Oregon Diesel. Not only do they charge very reasonable shop rates, they get the job done quickly and completely. Kent and his staff actually know buses (they have a least one in their shop every week). They also know 2-cycle DD's. They understand why you really do need the copper washers instead of steel washers. Kent, his staff, and his shop are all sort of scruffy if one is used to dealer shops. But for a logging town shop working on older iron their scruffieness is more than offset by their professionalism. If your friend needs help, have her give me a call, you have my number. Take care.
