In your thumbnail, I recognized the coach you are standing next to as an H3-45. If that's yours, I'd sure like to hear more about it and see some pics inside and out. Do you get a chance to drive it much?

Hey Jim, do you think I'm nuts enough to actually own a bus?

Yes! You are nuts enough to run this board. And owning a bus seems "normal" to me! :o)

One day, when I'm old and will have sold my yet to be purchased oldsmolimobus, I will be the smartest busnut in the world.

I will need to take BNO off the air, print out everything from the bbs and sit in my wheelchair, head tilted to the side, drooling from my lower lip, enjoying reading all the messages from all the years of capturing the great information that you guys and girls are placing here.

Who else here present is forging their retirement in such a meaningful way? Not a one of you, I suppose! I'll bet you're all out enjoying the heat wave, working on your buses.

Hah! Your all nuts. And I love it.

PS. Been driving these wee things since 1976, starting with TTC in Toronto and now driving very part time for a friend at Have Bus Will Travel, though it went bankrupt in 2003 and is making a slow recovery these days. The bus is, indeed, an H3-45 normal seated highway coach and my personal fav amongst the entire historical fleet of Entertainer and/or VIP Eagles, Prevosts and MCI's of which I have had the incalculable pleasure of being behind their wheel.

Ian,

We all already know you're drooling in your wheelchair already. :-)

I look forward to coming up and meeting you someday. I'm not showing up until I can pull into town in *MY* bus. :-)
