Usually WD40 will make most adhesives turn loose. Spray and let soak for 30-40 minutes. Won't help with painted pin stripes. Rod |

Mel, I'm working on removing the charter coach lettering from my bus as we speak. I found this article to be very helpful: http://signweb.com/index.php/channel/1/id/28 Good luck! Hank |

A heat gun or the wife's hair dryer, used sparingly will certainly help. Use it in a 'test' area and see if it won't make your life easier. Cheers, Bob |

If the graphics are painted on, you can spray some ez-off oven cleaner in the graphics, and it will curl the paint up, and leave the factory paint. Do a small area at a time. Worked great for me, as the whole side of mine had a BIG name on it. Took it off. My 2 cants Steve |

They make a rubber eraser that you use in a drill. Works good, I got mine from the local auto parts store. |

One of the problems with a pinstripe is that they're so thin that they tend to break as you pull them off. But the info already given will help you. |

I've had great success with a strong pressure washer, the actual pinstipe will come off quickly, then go over the adhesive residue with laquer thinners or something similar. Tim |

everybody keeps telling him how to take off decals.I think his are painted on. there is no way to do it,let me explain,if the stripe was painted on,it swelled the paint that was the original surface,so, if yo just sand it down till it disapers,it will still show . 40 (fourty) years of paint & bodywork. |

If they are painted on pin stripes I agree with Steve (n4rsn) EZ-OFF does an awesome job ! I've used it on buses, custom painted & lettered race cars, Tow trucks and etc. work a small area at a time an it comes off while leaving the base paint nice and shiney! BK |
