Went out today to work on my future Rv had not started it since last October. Thought maybe should fire it up today, put the batterys in threw the booster cables on it for a while one battery at a time would not turn engine over while my truck was parked beside the entrance door while boosting the batterys the door of the bus burnt a hole on the side of my pickup.

I am not sure what your question is but I would advice you to not boost a dead battery with another “Hot” battery in a truck. I used to do this for years on all types of equipment until one day I decided to boost my dead lawn tractor battery with my truck. The lawn tractor had not run all winter and the batteries were dead. Everything was going very well until the top of the battery blew off. The rapid charge must have been generating a lot of hydrogen gas and I am not sure what caused it but I think one of the Alligator clips must of sparked and set off the explosion. I was lucky I had gone to the other side of garage to fetch a tool or I would have a face full of acid and battery top. Now I only use a charger with a controlled amount of current and let it charge all night. This is much safer and I am not in that big of a hurry any more.

I can only imagine what a big 8D battery would do if this happened. It would probably blow out the side of the bus. The small lawn tractor battery was bad enough. A boosting warning is usually attached with new batteries but we all ignore it and usually have no problem. That one time you have a problem let me tell you it will be a big one.

Good luck and be careful.
