I have Coach-Net through FMCA. We have used them on several occasions (1 time for a tire on the bus, and several times for mechanical problems on our personal vehicles). We have been very pleased with the service we received. I cannot comment on the other plans as I have had no dealings with them. Jack

I have Allstate RV, have had for several years. Even towed a Dodge PU and 34' 5th wheel. Will pay on anything you are in, doesn't have to be your own. Wouldn't be without. Larryd

Yup, cheapest insurance to purchase is roadside assistance.

One tow in the wrong place will cost you into 4 figures, because they know you have no choice. And pick you up with the wrong equipment and damage your bus.

I'm with a Canadian outfit through the Explorer's RV club, but they all tap into the same network of reputable tow operators. Used it once for the SUV when the wheel studs all broke off. Da**ed mechanics and their air guns....

And when ordering a tow truck, it is one of the times when you MUST be sure to say clearly, they have to tow a GREYHOUND type bus.

Then chances are they will understand and they'll show up ready to go. Saying RV or bus conversion or anything else like that will get you a medium duty single axle wrecker at best.

happy coaching!

Coach Net (800)273-1110 is a class operation. Supported by FMCA and Escapees. They also now will find service for RV appliances and other equipment.

When the wrecker that comes has 4 axles and says Kenworth on the front, you feel a lot better.

I have Allstate and last year I lost my auto tranny. I had to be towed from Richmond, VA. to U.S.Coach in N.J. I paid up front and they paid every nickle in about 8 days. They found a great operator. Mike4905

Good Sam contracts with a place that dosen't know the difference between an RV and a TV. Two horror stories occurred within two weeks. Forget them!!

I used to have Good Sam, now I use Coach net. About the same price, but Coach net does it without the horrendous amounts of junk mail. Even after I left Good sam, they still sent stuff it seemed every week for a year and a half. no thanks. I did have to get towed once, and Good Sam was OK, not great, but ok, got the job done.
