I have a 1989 Silver Eagle. Recently while traveling through FL. I went through a truck wash with it. They asked if I wanted it acid washed and I said no...they did it anyway. My aluminum all the way around now has white milky streaks. What are my options to fix this??? |

Paul From what I have heard about acid wash is look out. You have to rinse and rinse to get all traces of the acid off. You will have etched the aluminum and probably no amount of washing will get rid of it. Sounds like a case for a lawyer but it is your word against theirs. Try buffing it but probably paint is your best bet now. Bill |

Paul, The only way to remove the milky white streaks is to re-acid wash your panels in a concistant manner then thoroughly rince the intire surfaces. Then of course Buffing and polishing is required! Hope this helps! Nick- |

BILL 340 is correct. The only solution is to paint it or reside with new metal. I will never ever let some one else wash my Bus no matter how dirty it gets. ( if this happend to me I would probably be in jail now.) Just kidding, I think. I am building my bus now and am planning on including a pressure wash system in the bus. There are plenty of closed busineses with large parking and drain systems that could be utalized along the way. Happy bus washing. ARTHUR |
