I have serious 8V-71 problems in my Prevost. Do you guys have any recomendations of a shop or shops in the Columbia, Florence or Charleston SC areas that do 8V71 rebuilds or swaps? Also, any suggestion where to buy a good rebuilt? Of course, cost and quaility are both issues. Thanks

Is it possible to list the symptoms here? Perhaps someone
can tell you if it's as bad as it seems?

The quick version is an oil line broke running 70 mph. The bus shut down, no prior indication of any problem at all, but after it shut down the tempature went over 230. We let it cool, fixed the broken oil line, added 5 gallons of oil and refilled the ratiator. The bus fired back-up but is blowing lots of oil through the exhaust.

We are thinking an inframe rebuild is best case.
