My girlfriend suggested that I post this today, so anyone interested can get with me.

I'm going to be driving my bus with car trailer in tow from Brooksville FL, to Los Angeles, CA on I-10. The entire back end will be empty, as well as the car trailer.

I should be leaving Florida on Friday or Saturday (Aug 4 or 5), and arriving in California approximately 4 days later. I usually make the drive in just over 2 days in a car, but I know my average speed won't be quite as good in the bus. :-)

If anyone has anything (LEGAL!) that needs to be transported, drop me a line to the email address in my profile.

I'm a little nervous about hauling someone elses car. My biggest worry is that a rock or something will get picked up and ding your paint. I promise that anything carried will get there in a reasonable time. I don't take liability for any of it though, although I'll do my best to take care of any packages as if it were my own.

My girlfriend reminded me that I shouldn't do it for free, so if you'd like to chip in a little something for my time, it would be appreciated.

I'd be happy with an extra driver, but if you want to ride along post here, so I can get the groups input on if you're safe to be around. I don't guarantee a comfortable ride, this bus is a shell, except I'm putting A/C in the front section, and a wall between the front and back.

Buswarrior,

Keep her, yup. Marry? Nope. I already got burned there once. We agree that the paper isn't necessary to establish that a relationship is there.

I wish I had known you were coming. I just had to pay big bugs to have my 34 Ford coupe brought out here from GA. Of course, that would have taken you up I-75/I-65 to Nashville and then onto I-40 West.

I am about to go make that very same drive from Florida to California in an empty bus. I hate I-10 so I'll be going up to 40 and across. For me, it is a much better road.

BTW - How did the drive go? What kind of bus did you get?
