....what is this? (sorry for the cell phone pic)
http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k104/eaglebus/IMG00009.jpg

it looks like a shop air hookup but I have no clue. its in the fuel door next to the filler neck. my bus has necks on each side and there's one in both. if you open the fuel door is in the upper left corner as you face the bus, about 3" long, threaded on the inside, and looks like it has a ball valve in there. I looked in da book(I have a complete set) and couldn't find anything. my bus is pretty much stock from the floor level down, so I'm almost positive that its factory. could it be? do I possess the almighty shop-air hookup? (cause my pax bogie tire needs air and I don't feel like driving to the chevron to do it) thanks for all the help!

Kyle,

I have an 85 model 10 and have no idea what that is. Stick you head inside the wheel well and see if it has a hose and where it goes.

Let us know where it ends.

Air bleed when filling tanks, I believe. At least I always thought that was what mine was. Occasionally diesel fuel will come out the check valve.

Kyle,
Like Richard said, it is an air bleed when filling your fuel tank. At least that is what it is on my '73 05.
