I purchaced a set of roof caps from r&m and I am going to fasten them soon. I was wondering the size and style of rivet to use. The ones they sent with the caps were about an inch and a half long but they don't seem to tighten up before they snap.Any suggestions?

I used Bulb-Tite rivets on the windows. They self-seal.....

I found that using sheet metal screws on the roof were more
favorable, since they're easier to install, seal well, and will make
any future tightening (or re-sealing) possible.
