My coach is a 1977 Eagle 05 with an 8v71, a standard 4 speed transmission, and 209,000 total miles. All running gear is original. Everything has worked fine for 14 years - until last week. The throttle began sticking when shifting gears. Normally, when I release the accelerator and engage the cluth, the rpm immediately drops. All of a sudden, the rpm does not drop as usual but continues at the current setting. Shifting up was not a big deal, but shifting down was quite a challenge. I would appreciate any and all suggestions concerning the cause....and a possible solution. Thanks, Jim |

there are two grease zerks on top of the engine, one of them is for throttle, but, you have 40 feet of checking to do,good luck, you can see those zerks as soon as you open the engine compartment ,right there in front |
