I ran across a fellow in Plainfield IL who was working on a fishbowl conversion. In passing , he mentioned a place in Minnesota that either had in stock or would fabricate GM and other coach skin panels that pattern match perfect with the original.
So, now I have lost contact with the Plainfield fellow and have done several searches on the Net for this supplier.
I would rather use formed panels instead of flat sheets for covering the holes where the windows used to be, and it would be nice to reskin one of the baydoors that is a bit rough.

Resource referal anyone??

thanks

Intl Bus Parts has a bunch of dies and custom makes loads of replacement pannels.

Don't know if they have exactally what you need ,

so call 1-800-468-5287 and find out.

They are also a source for "umbrella caps", that make a pulled rivet look like a real driven rivet.

AS well as other bus items , free catalog.

PS they do manufacture a custom window blank , that can cover one or two windows per side.

The piece runs from the edge of the remaining windows accross where there were filler trim pieces , across the window holes.

I have seen a coach done this way and it looks great , absolutly stock looking , as if the GM boys made a motorhome shell!

Not innexpensive , but it looks SO Good I would give up something to install this!

{ If I wanted blanked out windows}

How did I know this would be a piece of cake for you to answer?

I really appreciate your expertise Fred, I'll call them tomorrow and post an update over the W/E.

Fred...
I talked to the people mentioned above and they were very helpful, they are sending a cat. along free of charge. Thanks again for the rescource, the ONLY thing that fills the "lack of knowledge or experience" void.

FWIW...they ARE working on getting their website up and running soon!
