Hey Bob can I remove the switch on the 6.5 NH and extend the wiring 24 to 30 inches without any issues. I can't seem to find a remote wire harness that would just plug into the box. I was thinking if I just popped the switch out and lengthen the wires. Then tape off the old hole. thks Paul |

Paul, you could add a second switch in parallel with the original by using terminals 1,2,& 3 in the controller or on the Board. 1 goes to the center terminal of the new switch, 3 goes to start, and 2 connects to the stop terminal. That way you can keep your existing switch and mount your remote start switch wherever it's convenient for you. NCbob |

Well that was one quick and easy job. Never even dawned on me to put a second switch in. That is another good thing about the boards thanks guys. Pete when I was reading one of the links you attached I read about another mod that was interesting putting a toggle switch to activate fuel pump prior to cranking. I think I might do that as well it can't hurt knowing there is fuel at the carb when you it start. |

Often, these remote harnesses are on eBay. I've seen 'em many times, but have never needed one. David |
