A friend that upgraded his Wanderlodge stopped by and gave me his "old" mirrors. They have the wires to remove condensation , but are not the remote controll units , {thats what he had installed}. The curve matches , but thr mounting bolt holes are different. Looking at my 4106 I can see how to remove the inner attachments, but the outer ones look like they are behind the upper door hinge. Is there a secret , or do I have to start dis assembling till I get to the mirror fastners? I would hate to have to take down the door hinge stuff, I worry the door seals would leak after the R&R. Hopeing to learn the secrets of the Mirrors, FAST FRED |

Hi Fred: Fear Not!!! Just remove the metal cover over the hinge and you can reach in to hold the nuts on the inside of the coach. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!! LUKE at US COACH |

As I found out recently, heated mirrors could be VERY useful in cold climates. Especially at those less-than-adequate trucks stops (name withheld) in cold climates that let the windshield washing buckets freeze. Nothing like trying to get ice off your mirrors using a block of ice on stick . . . Scott |
