yeah, he moved it @ about 7:45 this morning and went to work. I wasn't sure if I should move it where it usually goes just to be a jerk, or if I should leave it @ the park kitty corner to my house so when he gets home it looks like i didn't care either way. I ended up moving it only because I had to unload a bunch and clean up all the trash on the inside from sat night. ill probably leave it there all night, and I know that code enforcement will be there @ 8am, but its become so routne that I don't even care. haha. although I do admit, if I wasn't trying so hard to be the victm here, I would have happily dumped that big ol' bag of C&H sweet stuff in my cupboard into his nice sedans tank. :-) j/k, j/k.........

haha, its all in good fun. I'd never actually do anything of the sort. I prefer to just steer clear of him all together. I have to much other bullshyte going on back the real world that I can't spare the energy to indulge a bored old man.

I had a simular problem on Fort Myers Beach. I had my bus parked on comercial private property. the codes enforcer tried to get me to move it and I refused. I told him it was a registered, insured vehicle that was my major mode of transportation. and cars parked there all the time. since he could not get any where with me he sent a letter to the property owner threatening them with a large daily fine. of course I had to move. but it back fired in his face. you can park for free on the city metered parking on the street from 10 pm till 8 am. so I parked there every night and set my alarm for 7:59 and would feed the two meters I would take up parallel parked. the first day I hear the meter maid out side my bus on her walky talky telling her boss I had moved to the city streets. and heard her say "he's parked legaly and if you guys still want to F#$K with him your on your own" I had 2 weeks left there before hitting the road so I parked like that for a couple days then a friend who had a double lot on a canal next to a city councel members house so I moved there for the remainder of the time. on my last night I parked in the town hall parking lot which also is owned by the bank I used so I parked there over night waiting for the bank to open and do my dealings with them.

Ron - you get 'extra' style points for that one - I did that in D.C. once (double meters) fed both meters (every 2 hours) and they still tried to ticket me - never paid them a dime -

Not to start a war here but the above is maybe why a lot of cities are passing ordinances against parking RV's at homes.

I'm not sure what JCB means by "the above"...Why shouldn't a RV owner be able to park his RV at home on his own property or driveway?
The codes are getting worse. Why is someone else's right to look at what they want to look at. or not to see a certain thing they see when they look at your property....why does this supercede the right of the actual owner of the property.
