well..only 3 people were nice enough to email me about this cut. It was a removal of the wall directly under the right upper deck window of my 4501 Scenicruiser. With a sawzall, disc grinder and about 2 pints of blood it came out better then expected. The result was better then imagined. The only problem is I scrapped my old plans cause this removal opened so much room that ideas are flowing.
we are however going to brace this area with a decrative oak 4x4 beam tied into a main rib of the roof for support and a hand rail.
Thanks for the help

Pete

Pete...
Your question posed an interesting problem, and a somewhat unique one in that it involved a coach that few if any here have experience with.
I did not reply because of that lack and the fact that I was not perfectly clear on exactly what and where you were modifying.

Your statement that "only 3 people were NICE enough to reply..." ...leads one to believe that the rest of us who frequent this forum were NOT NICE...

Remember we are ALL volunteers on this forum...
NOBODY GETS PAID TO WATCH OR READ this forum...
WE are ALL here to LEARN and if possible SHARE information.
All members of this forum, just like yourself, have a life outside of this WebPage, and we do NOT all CAMP HERE day in and day out waiting with baited breath for the next problem to be foisted forth.

From my limited experience here I have learned one thing,
if EVEN ONE person responds to a query of mine with a correct solution to a problem, I am further ahead than if NO ONE had answered.

I am sure the wording of you statement was not intended to offend anyone here, but in this age of instant gratification and self rightous demands, a statement such as yours COULD easily be misconstrued to mean that , with the exception of 3 people who did respond, the rest of us are less than helpfull.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

;) then again it could be the fact that with the exception of 3 people, we all dislike the name Pete...! ;)
