Steve - Your local NAPA store just started selling Nissan Maximas?? That's what the link seems to be about, not aftermarket LED lights.

If you have an MCI, you can get the full line of rear lights in LED from MCI Service Parts to fit MC-8 and newer. |

Anything you buy at NAPA should meet SAE Standards (DOT certified). I bought all my replacement lights at a popular online auction and had to be sure they met specs so I looked it up and the web. For technical info try: http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regulations/administration/fmcsr/393.11.htm And for more technical info try: http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regulations/administration/fmcsr/571.108.htm These are both FMCSA regs. These links were posted by another busnut some time ago. I don't remember who, I just copied them for future reference. HTH Ed. |

Try The Lighthouse Inc., they have most of the brands out there - I'm a fan of the Maxxima clearance and marker lights, but prefer the A.L. Lightech STT and FTT lamps (good light distribution - none of that 1000 points of light stuff). Cheers! -Tim (Message edited by Tim Strommen on December 01, 2006) |
