I would suggest you contact Dick Wright, directly at WRICO: http://www.generatorman.com/ In general, the remote start stop switch is wired in parallel with the unit mounted start stop switch. Richard |

Bluegrass what exactly did you do wrong? Did you not label the wires or something? I have a manual that tells what goes where but mine is a wrico 12.5kw. It might be the same but not sure. I have a remote starter inside the bus if that's what your trying to do! The remote panel camed from Dick at Wrico! Let me know if I can help you with what I have or like others have said, give him a call and he'll be sure to guide you! Ace |

A remote switch is nice , if and when it works, and you have the Knowledge to troubble shoot it when it fails. A simpler method that does not fail is two sockets (one SHORE one NOISEMAKER)with the COACH hooked to a plug. A bit more work switching , but fewer hassles with inverters and batt chargers dieing. Blue Bird mounted the setup in the rear of a hanging locker , out of sight but handy enough. FAST FRED |

FF, now you have me thinking, and thats a problem. LOL Although Bluegrass stated he wanted information on a remote start stop switch, maybe he really meant an automatic transfer switch. In that case, your recommendation is fine. If it is only to start stop the genset then the remote start stop switch is generally pretty fool proof. A three position toggle switch and three control wires from the remote switch to the genset switch. Richard |
