I am thinking of getting 1USA satellite internet service. Dose anybody know anythink about this internet service? (Good-Bad) or any suggestion.

last I heard...you couldn't travel with anything like that...they only grant you service in home ( permanent) non moveable service...

I looked at their website. Not such a great deal, it requires a landline to work for 1/2 of the circuit. Upload on the phone line and download from the satellite. Their other 2-way option is way way way out there on prices and not something that most people could afford.

I would keep looking and probably
Stick to the primary providers if you have to go 2-way and mobile ( Hughes and Direcway -same company! ) or a Echostar/Starband. There is also Mobilesat. The catch is the expense for the equipment and the contract rates.

Antennas and equipment up to $7,000 and an average of $100 a month or more for the service.

There is used equipment on the big auction for around $1,000 that is manual setup ( no-frills )
and then you have to learn how to operate it and pay the monthly fee ( usually only by contract ).
