Wondering if anyone tows this vehicle? The dealer I spoke with today appeared to be dumber than a sack of antlers. He told me all Saturns were towable, but I know that to not be true. Any advice? |

We were looking at the Vue also. They said the V6 AWD Honda drive train was towable. The FWD Chevy 4 cylinder was not. This was from a saleman so I would not take that as gospel. Hey, maybe get the hybrid Vue and charge your house batteries or run the coach air while you drive. :-) Try this link to see the full list of towables. http://www.motorhomemagazine.com/dinghytowingguide/2006/DinghyRatings_p20_28.pdf It says they are both towable. |

Some of the very first Vue automatics (including the CV) were not towable 4 down. All current units are. The Honda V6 and auto are good performers and towable in both FWD and AWD. All current production Saturns including Aura and Outlook are towable. |

Ran into an interesting item while checking the Saturn Outlook owner's manual. If the Outlook is front wheel drive (FWD) it can be towed four wheels down or with the front axle on a tow dolly. If it is all wheel drive (AWD) it can be towed four wheels down but MUST NOT be put on a tow dolly. That would be easy to miss. Jim Stacy |
