Mine has a Tachograph and would like to change over to a speedometer.Also I would like to add a tach while I'm messing around in the dash | ||

Chris - What type of tattle-tale do you have in the dash? One of the grey square ones hinged on the side, or a black round one hinged at the bottom? I think I may know of someone who's looking for one, if it's the round model. As for replacing the speedo, most folk are using an electric one that's driven from the LF wheel. Same for the tach - an electric one driven from the alternator. I can't remember specific brands right now, but if you do a search of the archives (at the bottom of the page or in the upper RH corner), the info will come up, as this has been discussed many times over the years. Don't forget that this is 24VDC stuff, unless you step it down. FWIW & HTH. . .  | ||

it's the square one hinged at the side. Would I be able to take the speedo and sending unit from a 4106 and use it? or would be better just to find an aftermarket | ||

Chris Give me a call ***386*672*0571*** or email me at hawk_ii_mail ***at***yahoo.com I have salvaged Monaco Tach and Speedo for $39 each - the speedo will work off the front wheel pick-up and the tach can hook to the "R" terminal of a 50DM alternator - If you do not have a front wheel or drive shaft pulser - I have Drive shaft pulsers for $25 from Rostra Cruise Controls Pete |
