Are any of you guys familiar with the TracStar
SV360? Is it any better than the Trac-King,it's pricier but that doesn't make it any better.
Thanks in advance

I had a conversation with a fellow up in Columbus Ohio that runs a charter service and he said that are trouble free and very good units. He is the giuy that was next to Dick Cahill's paint shop (the one before he moved). This is third hand info to you so take it for what it is worth.

I think they are only set up for single recievers and you need to purchace a kit to upgrade them for a second reciever. I like KVH...

The TracStar is a trouble free unit. I have one on my semi and had no trouble with it for over 5 years. The great thing about TracStar is, if you do have trouble with the system, you can trouble shoot yourself. They will stay on the phone with you. They will also send you parts and equipment to test with. The TracStar has a display unit that tells you what wrong. You can hook up more than one receiver to the TracStar systems!!!

I also own a KVH L3 unit. It is still in the box. If a problem occur with the KVH unit, you will have to take it to an authorized service center. They have to hook it up to a computer just to tell you whats wrong. There is a fee for that as well as to repair it. I was going to install it onto my coach. I decided to go with another TracStar instead.
