Plan ahead to attend the Museum of Bus Transportation's annual Spring Fling and Bus Show on Saturday, June 2nd. This will be the first time ALL the Museum's restored school, transit and inter-city buses will be available to visitors and the first time the public wil be invited to the Museum's new Memorial Annex. Buses will be displayed at both the Annex and the Museum nearby. There is no admission to visit the Annex where the actual Fling and Show will be held. Normal admissions (with member discounts) will apply at the Museum. The event will include a bus memorabilia and collectibles Flea Market, and hot food and cold drinks will be sold to benefit the Museum. A ceremony is planned to dedicate this new facility to honorees Richard Maguire, Dick Fullington, Sr., and George Sage. A free shuttle between the Memorial Annex and the Museum itself is also planned. The large facility will have as many spaces as needed for prospective vendors in the flea market but tables are scarce, Vendor space rental: $15.00 per space, $25.00 per space with table, all proceeds to benefit the Museum. It is recommended that vendors call NOW to rexerve spaces and/or tables and to allow the Museum to plan properly. (717) 560-7100, ext 119 or www.busmuseum.org. We ask all our bus friends to help spread the word and to e-mail the Museum through the web site if you and others plan to attend. |
