Took the ol girl into DD today for a $250 tune up. Got 350 HP too. All happy. |

Larry where did you go to get a 250 dollar tune up and what engine do you have if it is a 6v92 how do you get 350 hp out of it,Andy |

if your engine is DDEC(electronic) you can take it to the local DD dealer and have them set the DDEC to 350hp(mind you, only DD can do this, and sometimes they wont even), but if your motor is mechanical(MUI, or no computer) then you have to change the injectors, turbo, and a couple other things and your set to go. im still a relative newbie and not an expert, but im pretty sure thats how it works. |

A $350 computer reset , no problem, a DD Tune up is to adjust the valves , time the injectors and reset the rack. Hardly $350. FF |

Fast Fred, I can do the heads myself. The tune up versus tune down on the DDEC was $250, not $350. |
