Does anyone know if a Fuller RTO-9513, a 13 speed, which would be 4" longer then a 10 speed, will fit in a 1970 eagle 05 coach with a 8V71 & 4 speed. |

I have seen em. I'm waiting for some one to tell me how to hook up the shift rod. I've got some cabover parts. Remote tower and selector. Its what goes between that I want to hear how to work out. I think the rod has to rotate. |

That's how Prevost has the shift linkage set up. Prevo has a 2" od drive shaft with Ujoints /w steady bearing every 10 feet or so, between the remote shifter and the trany selector. |

Carter, Are you contemplating the 13 speed for the overdrive? If so, why don't you change the 10 speed to an overdrive unit instead. you will lose a little bit of low gear, but get a 20% overdrive vs a 13% on the other. I beleive a 9 speed will give you a 37% with a lower 1st gear and slightly wider spread than ten speed. |

what nobody seems to get, a 10 speed, a 13 speed...you have to shift three times going across an intersection... I go completely across in first gear, if you REALLY like shifting, go ahead |
