I have a 1970 mc-7 and need an idea on how to replace the original(cracked) dual pane panel that is the front half(rectangle shaped) of the side glass that has the diagonal as it's partner in the hinged frame. The diagonal half of that pair has been sheeted over and the sheeting is attached to the center down post seperating the two panes and I do not want to remove the sheeted exterior panel. I consequently cannot hinge the total frame outward to disassemble and remove the broken section. I would like some thoughts on how to R&R the front pane, in place. I am aware that the window groove is 7/8" wide and that the perimeter frame pieces connect at the corners with screws at a 45 degree angle. I will be glad to furnish more info that I might have neglected. Thank you in advance, Steve |
