Your circuit diagrams look really good. I would love to document my conversion with such professional looking diagrams. What program do you use to create them?

Don,

Thanks for the kudos. I will tell you that I used a program called SmartDraw 6, but in the same breath I will also tell you not to go this route.

Rather than repeat it all here, I will refer you instead to this post I made in another thread:
http://www.busnut.com/bbs/messages/11/15445.html#POST107032

That should explain my frustration with this program.

I will instead recommend you go one of two routes: Microsoft Visio, which will cost you around $450, but is the leading general-purpose drawing program on the market, and has many of the symbols you will need available in libraries.

Or, OpenOffice Draw, available absolutely free from OpenOffice.org. This program is just as powerful as Visio, but, with a much smaller base of existing users, does not yet have the extensive library support. But, did I mention it's free? And there is an extensive community of OpenOffice users who are beginning to share things like symbol libraries.

HTH,

-Sean

Sean, I enthusiastically concur with Don. To go to the trouble for yourself is laudable. To share it with us is exemplary. And thanks again for your thermo guidance.

PS: Still ain't got that piece of black velvet for the dash, I see. :-)
Louise will remember.
